They took the holstered knife from him first, tossing it over to the other side of the room well out of his reach. Searching his jacket, they found the throwing knives hidden in it and relieved him of those too. Then, the pressure on his back suddenly lifted and he was grabbed by the hair. Still keeping his arm twisted, the thug pulled him up violently to his feet. The gap-toothed man was once again standing in front of him, holding one of Sabin's own knives.
'I bet you're wondering what the hell's going on here, hmm?' The man's tone was jeering. Sabin glowered at him silently. He'd wait for his chance.
'Such a shame your little plans didn't work out tonight. That's what happens when you take tips from someone you shouldn't trust.'

My RPG character, Sabin, has landed in more than a few spots of bother. This particular incident in his backstory cost him an eye. :(
